About Me
My name is Brent Pearlman, an animator and a sculptor. I graduated from Monmouth University with a BFA in design and animation with a concentration in animation. Ever since I was young I had a deep fascination towards various forms of animation, whether it was from a movie or a video game, it would always peak my interests. I always saw animation as more than just a form of entertainment and instead saw it as a way to tell a story through art. In almost all my animations I try to convey a deeper meaning while still trying to keep things funny and lighthearted.
Aside from animation I exhibit a wide array of work from digital arts and photography to sculpture. However my favorite pastime is whittling. I started whittling as a homage to my grandfather. He had passed away long before I was born, but one of his hobbies was whittling. Growing up I was surrounded by his work, so one day I decided to give it a try. With no knowledge of how to whittle, I jumped right in and gave it my best. After many failed attempts I eventually came into my own and found my own style.
